St Paul's Cathedral Framed Ceramic Tile
St Paul's Cathedral Ceramic Tile
St Paul's Cathedral framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
Emily’s framed art ceramic tile shows St Paul’s Cathedral in a bright and fun style, blending its historic architecture with bursts of modern colour. The great dome dominates the centre, painted in cool tones of grey, blue, and white, rising strongly against the vivid background.
The sky glows with rich shades of pink and peach, sprinkled with touches of yellow, purple, and white, giving the scene a lively, almost celebratory feel. In the foreground, a colourful spread of flowers in pink, purple, yellow, and green is depicted with playful, scattered strokes.
The combination of the cathedral’s solid, timeless form with the joyful energy of the sky and flowers creates a dynamic and uplifting interpretation of this iconic London landmark.

St Paul's Cathedral
St Paul’s Cathedral, standing proudly in the heart of London, is one of the city’s most renowned landmarks and a triumph of English Baroque design. Created by Sir Christopher Wren and completed in 1710 following the devastation of the Great Fire of London, it is instantly recognised by its majestic dome, which dominates the skyline and ranks among the largest in the world
Inside, the cathedral is equally impressive, with its soaring nave, intricate mosaics, and the celebrated Whispering Gallery, where the acoustics allow the faintest sound to carry across the dome. Throughout its history, St Paul’s has hosted many important national occasions, from the state funerals of Admiral Lord Nelson and Sir Winston Churchill to the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer. A place of worship, it is also a lasting symbol of endurance, famously surviving the bombings of the Blitz in the Second World War.
