Hampton Court Palace Framed Ceramic Tile
Hampton Court Palace Ceramic Tile
Hampton Court Palace framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
This framed art ceramic tile reimagines Hampton Court Palace with a bold, playful energy. The striking red-brick towers and central archway rise proudly, set against a vivid pink sky that bathes the scene in a dreamlike atmosphere.
A field of flowers explodes with colour, rendered in joyful splashes of yellow, pink, blue, and purple, as if the garden itself has been painted with light. Speckled dots of colour drift across the entire image, softening the architecture and blending it seamlessly with its surroundings.
Emily’s artwork captures both the grandeur and history of the palace with a sense of enchantment.

Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace, located on the banks of the River Thames in southwest London, is a magnificent Tudor and Baroque royal residence with over 500 years of history. Originally built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey in the early 16th century, it became one of King Henry VIII’s favourite homes and the setting for many dramatic events of the Tudor court.
Hampton Court Palace is famed for its blend of striking red-brick Tudor architecture and later elegant Baroque additions by Sir Christopher Wren, commissioned by William III and Mary II.
The palace was opened to the public by Queen Victoria in 1838. Visitors can explore its grand state apartments, the Tudor kitchens, and the sprawling formal gardens, which include the famous Hampton Court Maze. Today, the palace stands as a captivating reminder of England’s royal past, offering a rich combination of history, art, and architectural splendour.
