Westminster Abbey
Westminster Abbey, located in the heart of London, is one of the most famous religious buildings in the United Kingdom and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Originally founded as a Benedictine monastery in the 10th century, it was rebuilt by King Edward the Confessor in the 11th century and later transformed into the magnificent Gothic church that stands today.
