Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede framed ceramic tile has been designed from artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
Emily’s bright framed ceramic tile captures the beauty of the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, suspended between the rugged cliffs of the Northern Irish coastline.
The sea is painted in brilliant shades of turquoise, aqua and deep blue, with touches of white suggesting waves breaking against the rocks below. Above, a bright blue sky is filled with soft, billowing white clouds, creating a fresh and uplifting summer atmosphere.
The dramatic cliffs are brought to life with rich greens, earthy browns and warm golden tones, while the foreground bursts with colourful wildflowers in vivid pinks, yellows and whites.
Delicate splashes of colour scattered throughout the scene creates a bright and joyful celebration of this spectacular coastal landscape.
