Giant's Causeway framed ceramic tile has been designed from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.

The glaze of the ceramic tile really brings out the rich luscious vegetation on the cliff side which is peppered with leafy green rain splashes.

Giant's Causeway
Giant's Causeway
is located near to the town of Bushmill on the North East coast of County Antrim. The Giant's Causeway has over 40,000 basalt columns that were formed 60 million years ago and is a UNESCO
World Heritage Site.
The name derives from local folklore, it is fabled to be the work of giants. It was the giant Finn MacCumhaill's stomping ground. He built it, as part of a causeway to reach the home of another giant whom he detested who lived on the Scottish island of Staffa, which has similar rock formations.
Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
