Natural History Museum ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
This art ceramic pendant brings the Natural History Museum to life warming colours. Emily has used soft golden tones to highlight the Romanesque architecture, focusing on the twin towers and arched windows.
A bright sky above is filled with blues and purples and is dotted with scattered paint flecks, giving it a sense of lightness and magic. This backdrop contrasts with the solid museum but also enhances its beauty.
In the foreground, wildflowers spread in vibrant clusters of pink, yellow, and purple. These lively touches create energy and a sense of joy, providing a playful contrast to the building’s formality.
