Westminster Abbey ceramic pendant has been created from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.

Emily Ward’s art ceramic pendant offers a bright and expressive view of Westminster Abbey, combining the grandeur of its Gothic architecture with a lively, modern style.

The Abbey is depicted in soft shades of pink, beige, and brown, which bring out the detail of its arches, spires, and stonework. Above, the sky stretches wide in a clear blue with touches of white cloud, creating a serene backdrop.

In the foreground, a field of wildflowers bursts with colour, featuring purples, pinks, blues and yellows, applied in scattered, dotted strokes that give the scene energy and movement. Framing trees on either side add balance with touches of green that contrast beautifully with the historic solidity of Westminster Abbey.

Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey is one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks, renowned for its rich history and stunning Gothic architecture. Established as a Benedictine monastery over a thousand years ago, it was later rebuilt by Edward the Confessor and has since become the traditional setting for royal coronations, weddings, and state funerals.
