Morpeth Chantry Open Edition Print A4
Morpeth Chantry Open Edition Print
Morpeth Chantry open edition print has been designed from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely art print is also available framed.
Emily’s art print of Morpeth Chantry presents the historic building in a bright and joyful style. The warm orange and golden tones of the stone glow vividly, highlighting its arched doorway and tall Gothic windows.
In the foreground, a meadow of flowers bursts into a colourful mix of pink, purple, yellow, and blue that dance across the open edition print and bring the scene to life.
The sky above is a soft blend of lilac and blue, speckled with flecks of colour that suggest a dreamlike quality. Framed by green trees and nearby buildings, the chantry stands as a radiant focal point, blending history with a sense of energy and celebration.

Morpeth Chantry
Morpeth Chantry, standing by the River Wansbeck in the heart of Morpeth, is a remarkable reminder of the town’s medieval past. Built in the 13th century, it first served as both a chapel and a chantry school, its sandstone walls and pointed arches showcasing the architectural style of the time.
Over the centuries, the building has been used in many ways, including as a school and courthouse, and today it thrives as a hub for visitors with its craft centre, art gallery, and tourist information. Blending history with modern community life, Morpeth Chantry remains one of the town’s most cherished landmarks.
