Inner Farne Island Square Open Edition Print
Inner Farne Island square open edition print has been produced from an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward. All of Emily's art prints are also available framed.
Emily's painting of the white lighthouse, on the southern tip of Inner Farne, is set to a sky filled with warming purple tones.
The white sea spray from the choppy North Sea can be seen as it collides against the island of Inner Farne. Emily's use of deep greens, blues and purples to the sea and rock face give this print a calming quality.

Inner Farne Island
The lighthouse stands proud on the southern tip of Inner Farne, a group of islands just off the coast in Northumberland near Seahouses. The lighthouse was built in the early 19th century and still functions.
The Farne Islands cover about five miles in the North Sea and have proven quite dangerous to shipping in the past. There have been many lighthouses erected over the years, the first around 1669. Only two lighthouses still work today.

Each print is 20cm x 20cm presented on a 30cm by 30cm Antique White mount.
