Alnwick Castle Summer Square Open Edition Print
Alnwick Castle Square Open Edition Print
Alnwick Castle square open edition print has been produced from an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward. All of Emily's art prints are also available framed.
Emily has painted the historic Alnwick Castle with a warm golden tone that is bathed in soft light. The sky above is a mixture of blue and purple hues which creates a dreamy effect on this art print.
The castle outline reflects over the soft purple colours that ripple across the water's surface. The long grasses and reeds have been given a burst of colour in the foreground on this lovely art print.

Alnwick Castle
Alnwick Castle was built in the 11th century following the Norman conquest and is a Grade I listed building. Receiving over 800,000 visitors a year, it is one of the most popular Northumbrian castles and has a vast history.
Alnwick Castle has been owned by the Percy family since 1309, with each inhabitant putting their unique stamp on the castle over the centuries. The 12th Duke of Northumberland, Ralph Percy and his wife Jane have developed the castle and gardens into the popular tourist attraction it is today.
The castle has been used in two Harry Potter films and has been featured in an episode of Downtown Abbey.
