Harrogate Royal Baths
The Royal Baths
are in the spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire. The Royal Baths were opened in 1897 and are one of three that remain in England today.
The spa waters of Harrogate were discovered over four centuries ago in 1571 by William Slingsby. The water was named the Tewit Well Spring and was said to be medicinal.
The splendid Turkish Baths are intricately decorated with mosaic tiles, glazed brickwork, Islamic arches and an arabesque ceiling.

Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
