The National Trust Shop in York ceramic tile with easel is from North East artist Emily Ward's Yorkshire art gift range. The ceramic tile is printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio.
Splashes of colour cover the branches of the overhanging tree, giving the impression that it is full of dainty purple and white leaves.
A warming glow of sunlight shines bright over the historic arch next to the gift shop. A gentle pink hue can be seen shimmering across the rooftop on this art gift.

The National Trust Shop
on Goodramgate in York is situated just around the corner from Treasurer's House. From the historic precinct you have a view looking over York Minster.
Archive material shows there has been a shop and information centre on the site dating back to 1930.
The archway at the front once formed one of four entrances to the York Minster precinct. With timbers dating back to the late 12th century, it’s the last remaining entrance left standing today.
Frank green a wealthy industrialist donated the building to the National Trust in 1969 along Treasurer's House and other important buildings in York.
Ceramic Tile with Easel
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
