St George's Church, a local icon, can be seen as a beacon in the distance rising up underneath the orange sky at the south end of the beach.
Longsands beach, an award winning Blue Flag beach is one of many beautiful beaches on the North East coast located in Tynemouth, North Tyneside. A stunning stretch of golden sand, low sand dunes, rocks and views make this an ideal place to visit all year round.
