Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede Hanging Pendant Decoration
Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
Emily’s bright decorative pendant captures the beauty of the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, suspended between the rugged cliffs of the Northern Irish coastline.
The sea is painted in brilliant shades of turquoise, aqua and deep blue, with touches of white suggesting waves breaking against the rocks below. Above, a bright blue sky is filled with soft, billowing white clouds, creating a fresh and uplifting summer atmosphere.
The dramatic cliffs are brought to life with rich greens, earthy browns and warm golden tones, while the foreground bursts with colourful wildflowers in vivid pinks, yellows and whites.
Delicate splashes of colour scattered throughout the scene creates a bright and joyful celebration of this spectacular coastal landscape.

Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede
The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
is a striking feature of Northern Ireland’s dramatic Causeway Coast, surrounded by rugged cliffs, rolling green countryside and the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The bridge hangs around 30 metres above the sea and crosses from the mainland to the tiny island of Carrick-a-Rede, creating an unforgettable view against the wild coastal landscape.
With a history linked to local salmon fishermen, it has become one of County Antrim’s best known landmarks. The combination of clear blue green waters, rocky coastline and sweeping sea views makes Carrick-a-Rede a beautiful and distinctive part of Northern Ireland.
