Dunluce Castle ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.

Emily’s colourful ceramic pendant portrays Dunluce Castle rising proudly above the rugged cliffs of the County Antrim coastline, surrounded by the beauty of the sea and countryside.

A soft, atmospheric sky blends gentle blues, lilacs and rosy pinks, creating a warm glow across the horizon and the peaceful blue water beyond.

The rocky cliffs are filled with a mixture of earthy orange, purple and pink tones, softened by areas of lush green grass. In the foreground, tall grasses and wildflowers burst with colour, with delicate touches of pink, purple, yellow, red and white creating a wonderfully lively scene.

Bright splashes scattered throughout add movement and texture, giving this historic coastal landscape a magical, uplifting quality.

Dunluce Castle

Dunluce Castle is a spectacular medieval ruin perched dramatically on the edge of rugged cliffs along the Causeway Coast in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, close to the town of Portrush. Dating largely from the 16th and 17th centuries, the castle is surrounded by breathtaking coastal scenery, with steep rocky cliffs and the vast Atlantic Ocean stretching into the distance.

Once home to the powerful MacDonnell clan, its weathered stone walls, towers and ruins create a wonderful sense of history and mystery. With crashing waves below and sweeping views across the sea, Dunluce Castle is one of Northern Ireland’s most dramatic and instantly recognisable historic landmarks.
