Belfast Castle Hanging Pendant Decoration
Belfast Castle ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
Emily’s vibrant decorative pendant brings Belfast Castle to life in a wonderful burst of colour. The castle’s grand architecture, with its beautiful turrets, pointed rooftops and ornate windows, is captured in warm tones of honey gold, soft pink and sandy cream.
Above, a dramatic sky sweeps across the scene in dreamy shades of violet, lavender, dusky pink and soft blue, sprinkled with tiny flecks of cheerful colour. The foreground is overflowing with a spectacular display of wildflowers, where bright pink and magenta blossoms mingle with delicate white daisies, vivid blue flowers and bursts of sunny yellow.
Lush green lawns, colourful garden borders and leafy trees surround the castle. Emily’s playful splashes of paint and rich mixture of colours create a joyful, whimsical atmosphere, perfectly capturing the romantic charm and timeless elegance of Belfast Castle.

Belfast Castle
Belfast Castle
is one of Northern Ireland’s most impressive historic landmarks, situated on the slopes of Cave Hill overlooking the city of Belfast and the beautiful waters of Belfast Lough. Completed in 1870 for the third Marquess of Donegall, the castle was designed in the Scottish Baronial style, featuring magnificent sandstone walls, elegant turrets, ornate stonework and a distinctive tower.
The castle later passed into the ownership of the Shaftesbury family, who gifted the building and its surrounding estate to the people of Belfast in 1934.
Set within the picturesque Cave Hill Country Park, the castle is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, colourful flowerbeds, woodland walks and spectacular panoramic views across the city.
