The ancient stone keep is illuminated with rich golden tones, bringing out the texture and character of its centuries old walls. In the foreground, a colourful display of wildflowers bursts into bloom, with delicate blossoms in shades of magenta, lavender, blue, white and crimson creating a lively carpet of colour.

Rochester Castle
is one of Kent's most impressive historic landmarks, standing proudly beside the River Medway for more than nine centuries. Built in the late 11th century and later strengthened with its magnificent stone keep, the castle played a vital role in defending the route between London and the south coast.
