Orford Castle ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
Warm golden tones bring Orford Castle to life on this bright and cheerful ceramic pendant. Behind the castle, a striking sky filled with soft pink, lavender and blue creates a beautiful backdrop, with tiny flecks of colour scattered throughout.
The foreground is overflowing with wildflowers, where tall stems and colourful blooms in pink, yellow, white and purple lead the eye towards the castle.
The combination of the bold castle, dreamy sky and abundance of flowers gives the picture a joyful and uplifting feel.

Orford Castle
Orford Castle
is an impressive medieval landmark standing proudly above the small Suffolk village of Orford in East Anglia. Its distinctive stone keep, built in the 12th century, has an unusual shape with three projecting towers that make it instantly recognisable.
Surrounded by the gentle Suffolk countryside and not far from the coast, the castle has a wonderfully strong and timeless presence. Its weathered stone walls and simple, bold architecture are a striking reminder of Orford’s long history and make the castle a much loved feature of the local landscape.
