Southwold Pier Pendant Decoration
Southwold Pier Hanging Pendant Decoration
Southwold Pier ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Southwold Pier stretches across a lively sea on Emily’s vibrant decorative pendant. Layers of blue, aqua, green and lavender run through the water, while splashes of white give the impression of waves and sea spray crashing towards the shore.
The sky is particularly striking, with clouds of pink, lilac, violet and blue merging together above the pier.
Touches of warm orange and gold around the horizon and shoreline bring warmth to the cooler colours of the water.

Southwold Pier
Situated on the Suffolk coast, Southwold Pier is one of the town’s best known attractions. The original pier opened in 1900 and was considerably longer than the structure seen today, having suffered damage from storms and during the Second World War.
Following extensive restoration, the pier reopened in its present form and continues to attract visitors throughout the year. Its location provides views across the North Sea and along Southwold’s seafront, an area also known for its colourful beach huts and historic lighthouse.
