Framlingham Castle ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.

Framlingham Castle stands majestically above the calm waters, its historic stone walls glowing with warm honey and golden tones beneath a striking summer sky. Shades of lilac, violet and soft blue drift across the clouds, creating a beautiful backdrop that is reflected in the peaceful water below.

Emily’s decorative pendant is bursting with colourful wildflowers, delicate pinks, sunny yellows, fresh greens and crisp whites fill the meadow with warmth.

Lush grassy banks and flourishing trees frame the castle, softening its impressive medieval architecture and highlighting its timeless beauty. The rich colours, sparkling reflections and vibrant landscape come together to create a joyful portrayal of one of Suffolk's most treasured historic landmarks.

Framlingham Castle

Framlingham Castle stands in the historic town of Framlingham in Suffolk, East Anglia, and is one of the region’s most impressive medieval landmarks. Built in the 12th century by Hugh Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, the castle is known for its dramatic curtain wall and thirteen tall towers, which still create a striking silhouette today.

Although the buildings inside the walls are mostly gone, the castle remains wonderfully atmospheric, with views across the surrounding countryside. It is also famous as the place where Mary Tudor gathered support in 1553 before becoming Queen Mary I.
