The National Trust Shop in York canvas art print has been produced from original artwork by local Northumbrian artist Emily Ward. Emily hand finishes each canvas print so no two canvasses are the same.
Emily's splashes of colour give the impression that there is an abundance of lovely, delicate little flowers growing from the many branches of the old tree.
The delightful historic shop and courtyard look very inviting, with the warm glow of sun shining down on the brickwork.

The National Trust Shop
in York is situated just around the corner from Treasurer's House in the historic precinct on Goodramgate. From the shop you have a view looking over York Minster.
Archive material shows there has been a shop and information centre on the site dating back to 1930.
Frank Green a wealthy industrialist donated the building to the National Trust in 1969 along with Treasurer's House and other important buildings in York.
Canvas prints
Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
Canvases are available in various sizes. Each size can be chosen above on the website.
All inks used for each canvas print are guaranteed not to fade.
