Kensington Palace Limited Edition Print

Kensington Palace limited edition print has been created from original artwork by Emily Ward, an artist from Newcastle. This delightful art print is also available framed.

Emily’s limited edition print brings Kensington Palace into vivid focus with a palette full of warmth and life. The building’s rich red bricks and symmetrical design stand confidently against a sky that shifts between soft pastel blues and deep purples. The sky is alive with swirling clouds that enhance the dreamy quality of the scene.

The garden in the foreground is a burst of colour and energy, with wildflowers painted in bright dots and strokes of pink, yellow, and lavender. The scattering of colours gives the impression of a garden in full bloom, brimming with movement and life. At the center, the statue stands as a reminder of the palace's rich history amid the lively natural setting.

Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace 's rich history began in the late 17th century, when it was transformed from the modest Jacobean Nottingham House into a royal residence by King William III and Queen Mary II. With its red-brick exterior and Baroque detailing, the palace reflects the architectural transition between Stuart and early Georgian styles. Designed in part by Sir Christopher Wren, it became a calmer alternative to the overcrowded Whitehall Palace.

Over the centuries, Kensington Palace has witnessed key moments in British history, hosting notable figures and events such as the birth of Queen Victoria in 1819, the childhood of Queen Mary, and the residence of Princess Diana. Today, it remains a working royal residence and a public museum, bridging the past and present of the British monarchy
