The Humber Bridge
is the UK’s longest single span suspension bridge. It crosses the Humber Estuary between Hessle in East Yorkshire and Barton upon Humber in North Lincolnshire.
The development of a bridge or tunnel here was campaigned for over a hundred years until it’s construction in 1972.
