Horsey Windpump Hanging Pendant Decoration
Horsey Windpump ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
Surrounded by colourful meadows and peaceful waterways, Horsey Windpump is beautifully captured on this bright and uplifting ceramic pendant.
The historic brick tower rises above the surrounding countryside, while its white sails stand out against a soft blue sky filled with delicate, wispy clouds. The still water reflects the windpump and the vibrant wildflowers, adding a sense of calm to Emily’s art gift.
Rich greens, warm golden grasses and cheerful pink blossoms combine to create a joyful celebration of one of the Norfolk Broads' most recognisable landmarks.

Horsey Windpump
Standing beside the River Thurne in the Norfolk Broads, Horsey Windpump is one of East Anglia’s most recognisable historic landmarks. The present red brick structure was built in 1912 to help drain the surrounding marshland and protect the low lying countryside from flooding.
Once powered by its large sails, the windpump played an important part in shaping and maintaining this unique wetland landscape. Today, it is cared for by the National Trust
and offers wonderful views across the waterways, reed beds and open skies of the Broads.
The nearby village of Horsey is also well known for Horsey Gap, where large colonies of grey seals can often be seen along the coast.
