Dover Castle framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.

The ancient fortress is bathed in warm sunlight, its historic stonework glowing against a sky painted with soft blues, lavender tones and gentle hints of pink. Dover Castle
Perched high on the famous White Cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle is one of Britain's most spectacular and historically significant fortresses. Founded in the 12th century by King Henry II, the castle has guarded England's coastline for over 900 years, earning its reputation as the "Key to England."

Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
