Brighton Pier framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
The framed ceramic tile captures Brighton Palace Pier with a sense of warmth and coastal nostalgia. The sky stretches overhead in calm shades of blue, speckled with light that suggests drifting air and sunshine.
The pier rises above the water in glowing ochres and yellows, its structure clearly defined against the sky, while the bright red lettering adds a playful burst of colour.
The sea below appears lively and textured, blending turquoise and deeper blues as it meets the shore. In the foreground, empty deckchairs and a nearby seagull create a quiet, peaceful moment, inviting you to imagine the sounds and atmosphere of a classic day by the sea.

Brighton Pier
Brighton Palace Pier is an iconic feature of Brighton’s seafront, projecting confidently over the pebbled beach and into the English Channel. Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
