Blackpool Tower framed ceramic tile has been designed from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
The iconic Blackpool Tower stands proud with its red ironwork contrasting beautifully against the cool misty sky. The sky is filled with soft wispy clouds with purple and lilac hues on Emily’s framed ceramic tile.
Surrounding the base and floating across the bottom of this art are vibrant flowers filled with bright pinks, yellows and blues.
The dainty flowers in the foreground evoke a sense of spring with their varied hues and circular blooms.

Blackpool Tower
The Tower located on Blackpool’s famous promenade opened in 1894. The total cost for the construction and design was about £290,000. Blackpool Tower is 518 feet and 9 inches tall and on a clear day you can see across to the Lake District.
Blackpool Tower
houses several attractions including the Tower Ballroom, an observation deck named the Tower Eye and the Tower Circus. These entertainment venues offer a blend of heritage and family fun, making the tower a central part of Blackpool’s tourism and cultural scene.
Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
