Battersea Power Station Postcard
Battersea Power Station Postcard
Battersea Power Station postcard is from North East artist Emily Ward's beautiful range of art postcards. This postcard has been created from original artwork by Emily.
Emily's postcard portrays Battersea Power Station in Emily’s vivid and imaginative style, where colour transforms the familiar landmark into something almost otherworldly. The building’s bold red-orange brickwork radiates warmth, while its four pale chimneys stretch upwards against a luminous sky painted in shades of pink, lilac, and purple.
The sky is alive with movement, scattered with speckles of colour that give it a playful, dreamlike atmosphere. At the base, a field of flowers bursts into life, rendered in lively dabs of violet, yellow, green, and white, softening the industrial form with natural vibrancy.

Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power Station , set along the south bank of the Thames, stands as one of London’s most recognisable landmarks. Its four towering white chimneys rise dramatically above the vast brick facade, a striking example of Art Deco–inspired industrial design.
Once a coal-fired powerhouse that kept the city running, the building has now been transformed through careful restoration into a lively destination of homes, shops, restaurants, and cultural venues. Though reimagined for modern life, it still retains its monumental character, its bold silhouette continuing to dominate the skyline as a symbol of both London’s industrial heritage and its creative regeneration.
