Treasurer's House
Treasurer's House
is a Grade 1 listed building in York in North Yorkshire. The house is owned by the National trust who also maintain the gardens. The house is tucked away in Minster Yard behind York Minster.
Frank Green, the grandson of a wealthy industrialist, bought the house in 1897. He quickly transformed the town house in readiness for a visit from Edward V11. The house was a showcase for his collection of historic furniture and art.
