Emily's art print of this intriguing historic street has a calming feel to it. Shades of pink reflect off the timber buildings from the evening sky which is filled with soft lilac tones.
Blue doorways stand out behind the rich greenery of Emily's hanging baskets which have been speckled with a splash of colour.

The Shambles
Shambles or The Shambles
as it is often referred to, is a narrow street in the city centre of York in North Yorkshire. The Shambles has a long and interesting past and dates back to Medieval times. It was originally a street full of butchers shops specialising in different meats, some shops still display a meat hook outside their shop front.
Today the Shambles is one of Europe's most visited street, with it's cobbled street and overhanging buildings.
