The Cobb at Lyme Regis
The Cobb at Lyme Regis is a historic stone harbour wall in Lyme Regis, on England’s Jurassic Coast. Curving gracefully into the English Channel, the structure has protected the town’s boats for centuries and has become one of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks.
Originally constructed in the 13th century and rebuilt several times after storm damage, the Cobb is made of massive limestone blocks and features a distinctive rounded shape that helps break the force of the sea. There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
