St James's Palace Keyring
St James's Palace Keyring
St James's Palace keyring has been created from original artwork by Emily Ward a local North East artist. This art keyring has been hand pressed locally in Emily's art studio.
Emily’s art keyring depicts St James’s Palace in a vibrant style, using colour to create a sense of warmth and celebration. The building is rendered in rich tones of brick red, terracotta, and soft orange, giving it a glowing, sunlit appearance.
Hints of gold and warm brown add texture to the stonework, while the windows are picked out in cool blues and whites. Deeper shades of navy and charcoal around the entrance add depth.
The sky above is calm and airy, painted in smooth washes of light blue and lavender, scattered with tiny flecks of pink, yellow, and white that drift across the scene like confetti or falling petals. At the base of the Emily's artwork, the flowers burst into colour, with slender stems and blossoms in purple, pink, blue, yellow, and white rising together in a lively display.
These bright floral tones mirror the speckled sky, bringing movement and harmony to Emily’s artwork and giving it a joyful, uplifting mood.

St James's Palace
St James’s Palace, nestled between The Mall and St James’s Park in central London, is a historic royal residence with origins dating back to the reign of Henry VIII. Completed in the 1530s, it was built in the distinctive red-brick Tudor style and for centuries served as the principal home of English monarchs. Although overshadowed in prominence by Buckingham Palace, it continues to play a key role in royal life, hosting formal receptions, investitures, and state occasions.
Its historic gatehouse and elegant courtyards stand as reminders of its rich past. Inside, it provides official offices and residences for members of the royal family. As the location where the Accession Council meets to formally proclaim a new sovereign, St James’s Palace remains a significant and enduring symbol of Britain’s monarchy.
