Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede Ceramic Tile with Easel
Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from original artwork by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
This colourful ceramic tile beautifully captures the dramatic coastal setting of the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, stretching gracefully between the steep rocky cliffs.
The sparkling sea below is filled with gorgeous shades of turquoise, teal and rich ocean blue, with soft white waves bringing a sense of movement to the water. Overhead, a fresh blue sky and large, fluffy white clouds give Emily's art a bright and summery feel.
The surrounding cliffs are in warm earthy colours and lush greens, while the foreground is overflowing with delicate wildflowers in cheerful pinks, whites and yellows. Bright splashes of colour scattered across the landscape add a playful quality to this uplifting view of the Northern Irish coast.

Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede
The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
is a striking feature of Northern Ireland’s dramatic Causeway Coast, surrounded by rugged cliffs, rolling green countryside and the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The bridge hangs around 30 metres above the sea and crosses from the mainland to the tiny island of Carrick-a-Rede, creating an unforgettable view against the wild coastal landscape.
With a history linked to local salmon fishermen, it has become one of County Antrim’s best known landmarks. The combination of clear blue green waters, rocky coastline and sweeping sea views makes Carrick-a-Rede a beautiful and distinctive part of Northern Ireland.
