Peel Castle coaster by artist Emily Ward has been hand pressed locally onto a FSC rated hardbacked coaster. The coaster has been produced from original art by Emily.
The sky on Emily’s art coaster of Peel Castle is a vivid mix of fiery oranges. The sun is surrounded by glowing yellows and golds which gradually transition into a deep red as they reach the edge of the sky.
The rich and warm tones of the castle highlight the red sandstone of the ancient Peel Castle.
The castle appears ancient and weathered by time yet strong and imposing whilst the calm water in the foreground reflects the warmth of Emily’s art.

Peel Castle
Peel Castle is located on St Patrick's Isle near the town of Peel on the Isle of Man. Originally built by Norse settlers in the 11th century, the castle has played a key role in the island's history for centuries. The ancient walls and hidden corners are filled with stories of Viking rulers, medieval life, and the island's rich heritage.
From the Castle ramparts stunning panoramic views of the Irish sea can be seen.
Peel Castle is not only rich in history but also shrouded in legend. The most famous tale is that of the Moddey Dhoo, a ghostly black dog said to haunt the castle grounds.
