Emily’s art canvas print captures an almost enchanted landscape bathed in soft, luminous colour. The sky dominates the scene in gentle washes of violet, lavender, and pale mauve, layered with cloud-like brushstrokes and scattered flecks of light that shimmer like drifting mist or falling pollen.
Below, the estuary curves quietly through the landscape, its glassy surface reflecting the purples of the sky and the greens and golds of the land, creating a calm, mirror-like stillness.
Grassy banks and meadows glow in warm yellows, fresh greens, and hints of earthy orange, while a line of slender trees stands along the horizon.

Otter Estuary
The Otter Estuary
is located at the mouth of the River Otter, where it meets the English Channel at Budleigh Salterton, on the south coast of Devon. It lies at the eastern end of Budleigh’s pebble beach, stretching inland from the seafront and promenade, and forms part of the wider East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The estuary sits between Budleigh Salterton and the village of Otterton, creating a natural boundary where river, wetland, and coastline come together.

Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
