Octagon Tower, Studley Royal Water Garden canvas art print is by North East artist Emily Ward. This is a new addition to Emily's portfolio of original artwork in the Yorkshire and Humberside range. The canvas print is hand finished by Emily.
The Gothic tower stands proud amongst a rich backdrop of greenery under a swirl of fluffy clouds.
The stonework and shrubs have been speckled with splashes of pink and yellows which blend nicely into the shading on the ancient stonework.

Octagon Tower, Studley Royal Water Garden
Studley Royal Water Garden, including the ruins of Fountains Abbey
, in Yorkshire is a designated World Heritage Site. This 800 acre site features the largest Cistercian abbey ruins in Europe, 18th century landscaped gardens, and a Jacobean mansion.
The Octagon Tower was built in the mid 1730s, towards the north side of the Water Gardens to highlight the eye-catching view over the Georgian gardens. The garden has elegant ornamental lakes, canals, temples and eye-catching vistas.
This two storey octagon shaped tower was said to have originally been built in a Classical style, and was Gothicised later.

Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
