Norwich Cathedral
is one of the most impressive medieval buildings in England, standing in the heart of the historic city of Norwich in Norfolk. Founded in 1096, the cathedral is renowned for its magnificent Norman architecture, beautiful cloisters and soaring spire, which rises to around 315 feet.
Built from distinctive pale limestone, the cathedral has a wonderfully elegant appearance and is surrounded by the peaceful Cathedral Close, with its historic buildings, gardens and green spaces.
