The peaceful river gently winds its way through the countryside, its shimmering surface mirroring the fresh greens of the surrounding reeds and grasses. Bursting with vibrant pink, lilac and yellow wildflowers, the foreground is alive with colour.

Broads National Park
The Broads National Park is located in Norfolk and Suffolk in the east of England. It is made up of over 125 miles of rivers and shallow lakes called broads. They are the largest protected wetland in Britain.
The largest broads are Hickling Broad, Barton Broad and Oulton Broad.
Most of the broads
were originally created when people dug for peat hundreds of years ago. Over time, these pits filled with water, forming the network of lakes and winding waterways that can be seen today.
The Broads are one of the UK's most important wetland areas and are well known for their peaceful scenery.
