Ludlow Castle Hanging Pendant Decoration
Ludlow Castle ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
The sky is a wonderful feature on Emily’s decorative pendant, with a large, radiant sun dominating the scene. Swirling circles of yellow and pale gold spread out from the centre, gradually blending into soft whites and then into shades of blue at the edges.
The foreground is filled with a vibrant meadow of wildflowers in shades of pink, purple, blue, white and yellow. Fresh green grass and tall delicate stems lead the eye towards the castle, creating a bright, cheerful and uplifting view of this beautiful historic landmark.

Ludlow Castle
Ludlow Castle stands in the historic market town of Ludlow in Shropshire, overlooking the River Teme and the surrounding countryside. Dating back to the late 11th century, the castle has stood for more than 900 years and was originally built as a Norman fortress close to the Welsh border.
Enlarged and altered over many generations, it became an important royal residence and centre of government for the Welsh Marches.
With its impressive medieval towers, ancient walls and historic ruins, Ludlow Castle
remains an important part of the town’s heritage and is now open for visitors to explore.
