Lowlights square open edition print has been produced from original art by local North East artist Emily Ward. All of Emily's art prints are also available framed.
Emily’s art print is of the stark white Low Lights standing proud watching out over North Shields Fish Quay.
Hints of streaks of grey cascading through the sky casting a shadow over the dark blue of the River Tyne really make you imagine a wintery morning.
Fishing trawlers painted red and blues have been added to bring to life this dramatic painting of a local busy fishing port.

Lowlights, North Shields Fish Quay
The High and Low Lights of North Shields, were the first set of lights to be built in the 16th century to help navigate the River Tyne and avoid the dangerous Black Middens. The newer lights replaced the original lights around 1810 and were decommissioned in 1999.
North Shields Fish Quay which can be dated back to the 13th century and is still a working fishing port situated at the mouth of the River Tyne in the North East of England.

Each print is 20cm x 20cm presented on a 30cm by 30cm Antique White mount.
