Hill Top, Beatrix Potter House Keyring
Hill Top, Beatrix Potter House Keyring
Hill Top, Beatrix Potter House keyring has been created from original art by Emily Ward a local North East artist. This art keyring has been hand pressed locally in Emily's art studio.
This delightful artwork captures the beauty and tranquillity of Hill Top, the former home of Beatrix Potter, with a playful and colourful touch. The charming stone cottage sits peacefully in the centre, its honey-coloured walls and slate roof bathed in warm sunlight. Surrounding the house is a lush, well-tended garden bursting with flowers and greenery, evoking the idyllic countryside that inspired so many of Potter’s beloved stories.
The foreground is alive with splashes of pink, purple, blue and green, representing a wild, flourishing meadow of flowers. Gentle dots and specks of colour float across the entire scene on this art keyring.
A soft blue sky with sweeping white clouds completes the picture, reflecting the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter and the timeless charm of her Lake District home.

Hill Top, Beatrix Potter House
Hill Top House in the village of Sawrey, near Hawkshead in the Lake District, was the home of Beatrix Potter, the renowned children’s author and illustrator. The 17th century Grade II listed building was bought by Beatrix Potter in 1905 from royalties from her early books.
Many of the author’s classic characters such as Jemima Puddleduck and Samuel Whiskers and stories such as The Tale of Tom Kitten were written there. Sketches of the house and gardens are included in her stories.
Beatrix Potter left the house to the National Trust.
