Blenheim Palace ceramic pendant has been created from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.

Emily’s art ceramic pendant of Blenheim Palace captures the grandeur of this historic building in a vivid, dreamlike style. The palace itself is painted in warm, earthy tones of terracotta and ochre. The grand columns and ornate towers stand in sharp contrast against a rich, lavender-hued sky streaked with soft white clouds.

In the foreground, an expansive meadow bursts with colour, splashes of pink, purple, blue, yellow and white create a lively sea of wildflowers. The combination of the stately architecture and the playful depiction of nature gives the scene both elegance and vibrancy, blending the formal beauty of Blenheim with the joy of a sunlit summer’s day.

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is set amid 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. It stands as a masterpiece of English Baroque architecture and a symbol of national pride. Commissioned as a reward for the 1st Duke of Marlborough’s triumph at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704, it was designed by Sir John Vanbrugh and Nicholas Hawksmoor to reflect both grandeur and power.

The opulent state rooms are adorned with fine art, tapestries, and intricate carvings. The grounds were later transformed by Capability Brown, and offer sweeping vistas, ornamental lakes, and formal gardens.
