Brighton Pier ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.

Emily’s art ceramic pendant depicts Brighton Palace Pier in a lively, atmospheric seaside scene filled with colour. The sky is painted in soft, pastel blues, scattered with flecks of white that give the impression of drifting light or sea air.

The pier stretches confidently across the background, its warm yellow and golden tones glowing against the cool sky, while the bold red lettering of its name stands out as a cheerful focal point.

The sea shimmers in turquoise and deep blue hues, gently meeting the shore. In the foreground, two striped deckchairs rest on the sandy beach, adding a relaxed, nostalgic feel, while a lone seagull stands nearby, reinforcing the coastal setting. Altogether, this art gift captures the charm, energy, and timeless appeal of Brighton’s seaside atmosphere.

Brighton Pier

Brighton Palace Pier is a famous landmark on the south coast of England, located in the seaside city of Brighton, East Sussex. It was opened in 1899 during the height of the Victorian era, when seaside resorts were becoming popular holiday destinations.

Stretching out into the English Channel, the pier was designed as a place for leisure and entertainment, and it remains so today.
