Berwick Lighthouse
Berwick Lighthouse
is stands 13.5 metres high and was built in 1826. It is at the end of the stone pier guarding the mouth of the River Tweed. The most northerly lighthouse in England it provides stunning views down the Northumberland coast.
The striking red and white markings on the historical lighthouse feature on the iconic painting by L S Lowry and the lighthouse is in Berwick's renowned Lowry trail.
