Emily’s ceramic tile of Aira Force Waterfall captures the drama and beauty of the Lake District’s famous cascade. The waterfall tumbles gracefully between mossy rocks, its white spray bursting with energy as it crashes into the pool below.
Lush greenery surrounds the scene, with ferns, vines, and dense foliage painted in rich shades of green, highlighted by touches of yellow and soft pink that bring the woodland to life. Above the falls, a stone bridge arches elegantly, partly hidden by the trees, adding a sense of depth and history to the artwork.

Aira Force Waterfall
Aira Force Waterfall is one of the most celebrated natural landmarks in the Lake District, located near Ullswater in Cumbria. Hidden within ancient woodland, the waterfall plunges dramatically for around 65 feet (20 metres) into a rocky gorge, its rushing waters creating a constant roar that echoes through the trees.
The surrounding landscape is rich with ferns, mosses, and towering evergreens, adding to the sense of enchantment and tranquillity. Stone bridges cross the stream above and below the falls, offering perfect viewpoints to admire the cascade.

has long been a place of inspiration, even featuring in the poetry of William Wordsworth, and today it remains a must visit beauty spot in the Lake District.

Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
