Aira Force Waterfall
Aira Force Waterfall, set near Ullswater in Cumbria’s Lake District, is a striking natural feature surrounded by peaceful woodland. The waterfall drops around 65 feet (20 metres) into a rocky ravine, its rushing water filling the air with a powerful, echoing sound.
The area around the falls is rich with greenery, from moss-covered rocks and delicate ferns to tall trees that create a sheltered, almost magical atmosphere. Stone bridges above and below the cascade provide perfect viewpoints, allowing visitors to admire the force of the water from different angles.
