York Minster, East Window
The Great East Window is the largest expanse of medieval stained glass in the country. The 600 year old window recently had major restoration and conservation work completed that lasted for 12 years. With over 300 glazed panels this was a very adventurous project when it was made in the Middle Ages.
York Minster
is the 2nd largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, built between 1220 and 1472.
The Lantern Tower or also known as York Minster's Central Tower stands 230 feet high. Built between 1407 and 1433 it is an amazing piece of 15th-century engineering.
