Twyford Viaduct Ceramic Tile with Easel

Twyford Viaduct ceramic tile with easel has been designed by Newcastle artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from an original painting by Emily.

The beautiful colours stand out with the glaze on this locally printed and hand pressed tile.

Splashes of colour light up the disused brick viaduct near the market town of Twyford. The fading horizon of the valley can be seen through the many arches on Emily's art gift.

A field of bright dainty flowers adds warmth to the grassy meadow in Leicestershire. The vibrant evening sky adds a burst of colour to this lovely painting.

Twyford Viaduct

The viaduct is situated in Leicestershire in the Midlands. There are many walks that take in the disused Twyford Viaduct , you can start off in the village of Twyford and walk under the 14 arches. The railway bridge was renamed John O'Gaunt Viaduct.

The viaduct ran for nearly 230 yards over the valley at John O'Gaunt and the arches rise to nearly 60feet.
