Twyford Viaduct Square Open Edition Print
Twyford Viaduct square open edition print is from an original painting by Emily Ward, a local North East artist. This delightful art print is now also available framed.
The old brick viaduct looks imposing under the evening sky which is awash with purple tones. Colourful splashes of paint speckle this art print adding character.
Pink, yellow, blue and white flowers grow wildly on the edge of the grassy valley that the viaduct crosses over in Leicertershire.

Twyford Viaduct
The Twyford Viaduct
was on the Great Northern and London and North Western Joint railway. The railway line ran from Melton to Market Harborough providing a route for coal to be distributed from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The line was opened in 1879, commuter numbers tailed off on the sparse Northampton-Nottingham passenger service in the early 1950s. The line was closed in 1964 and the 14 arched bridge remains a popular landmark.
