The Royal Crescent, Bath Fridge Magnet
The Royal Crescent, Bath Fridge Magnet
The Royal Crescent, Bath fridge magnet has been designed from original artwork by Emily Ward, an artist from the North East. This art fridge magnet has been locally hand pressed in Emily's art studio.
Emily’s art fridge magnet offers a lively and colourful take on the Royal Crescent in Bath, beautifully capturing the elegance and charm of this iconic Georgian landmark. The sweeping curve of the grand terraced houses dominates the scene, their warm, honey-coloured stone and symmetrical windows showcasing the timeless beauty of 18th-century design.
The foreground bursts with joyful splashes of colour, as wildflowers in soft pinks, yellows, blues, and whites dance across the bottom of the painting. Above, the sky is a brilliant blue, scattered with delicate dots of colour that add a playful, whimsical feel to one of Bath's most famous landmarks.

The Royal Crescent, Bath
The Royal Crescent in Bath is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Britain, celebrated for its graceful sweep and harmonious proportions. Built between 1767 and 1774 and designed by architect John Wood the Younger, the crescent consists of 30 grand townhouses arranged in a perfect arc overlooking a wide, manicured lawn.
Constructed from the honey-coloured Bath stone that gives the city its distinctive warmth, the façade presents a unified classical appearance, even though each house was historically owned and decorated separately. Today, the Royal Crescent remains an enduring symbol of Bath’s elegance, reflecting the wealth, taste, and architectural ambition of the 18th century while offering a striking visual landmark admired by visitors from around the world.
